The name Sukku derives from the Indonesian word, ( suku ) which means tribe or a bunch of people who share the same ideology based on regional area that they lived in. We want to give a message that Sukku as a brand, is a brand that values a communal ideology, whether it be for coffee, hangout places or whatever else. Another meaning that the word Sukku holds is Bugis for perfect.
Sukku is a coffee shop in Medan that seeks to be a place where middle to high income 18-25 year olds can hangout in a great outdoor space. Coffee quality and aesthetics are the main selling points. The space where Sukku resides on used to be a Warkop, and even before that it used to be the owner’s house.

Sukku is a brand of food and beverages from Medan, Indonesia. It was founded by a young man, on October 2020.
